An enviable outdoor lifestyle, year-round warm weather, safe, friendly and welcoming communities are key drawcards for living in the Gascoyne. Like many regional centres the Gascoyne is experiencing shortages of long term and seasonal workforce housing.

The median house price of an established home in the Gascoyne is significantly lower than in the metropolitan area. The established towns of Carnarvon, Exmouth, and Denham offer a broad range of homes in unique settings from overlooking marinas to nestled within plantations, ocean blue vistas and river frontage. Dwellings offer reasonably sized blocks with plenty of room for the family, pets, sheds and gardens.

Development WA has a number of high end housing developments, many with double glazing in the Gascoyne where it is possible to establish new homes. Many waterfront and near waterfront lots are available at the Carnarvon Northwater Estate, the Denham Estate, Nimitz Estate,  and the Exmouth Marina Village. The Exmouth Marina Village also offers commercial opportunities.
