Veronica Fleay [Chair, Local Government Exmouth]

Ronnie is the Exmouth Shire President and Proprietor/Manager of Ningaloo Marine Agencies. Ronnie is also ra member of the WA Planning Commission and Ningaloo Sustainable Development Committee as well as a representative on the Exmouth Townscape Advisory Committee, Exmouth Whale Shark Festival Committee and active member of other local committees.

Karl Brandenburg [Deputy Chairman, Local Government, Carnarvon]

Karl is a long term resident of Carnarvon and owner/operator of U2 Bobcat Hire. Karl is a Councillor and deputy Shire President with the Shire of Carnarvon, a member of the Carnarvon Ningaloo Steering Committee, Gascoyne Floodplain Management Committee and an active member on many other local committees.

Stephen Yule [Ex-Officio]

Stephen is the Chief Executive Officer of the GDC and has more than 20 years experience working in the area of regional development.

Doug Hunt [Community, Coral Bay]

Doug is a long term resident of Coral Bay and business proprietor of Coral Bay Adventures. Doug has extensive experience in the fishing and tourism industries and is a member of the Ningaloo Sustainable Development Committee and the Coral Bay Progress Association.

Heather Condo [Ministerial Appointment]

Heather is an active member of the Carnarvon community and has family business interests in a large grape growing plantation. Her recent community roles have included being the President of the Carnarvon Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Secretary of the Gascoyne Table Grape Growers Association.

Donald Hammarquist [Community, Upper Gascoyne]

As a pastoralist on Mt Augustus Station Don Hammarquist is keen to see the Upper Gascoyne develop and move forward. While Mr Hammarquist has been appointed to the board as a community representative, he is also a Shire of Upper Gascoyne Councillor.

Bob Eddington [Local Government, Shark Bay]

Ever since Bob Eddington came to Denham eight years ago he has put his heart and soul behind the region and helped to guide its fortunes. A business owner and proprietor, Mr Eddington was elected to the Shark Bay Shire Council six years ago and has served as shire representative on many steering committees. He is currently the Shire President.

John Oxenham [Ministerial Appointment]

Mr Oxenham has significant experience with each of the region's major industries. He began his career fishing and salt mining in his home region of Shark Bay. Mr Oxenham later moved to Carnarvon and continued salt mining then took on a partnership in a plantation for the last 24 years of his career. He has long been involved in community work and currently serves on the Boards of a number of organisations, including the Gascoyne Aboriginal Heritage and Culture Centre.

Tom Day [Ministerial Appointment]

Tom Day has served as a leader at regional, state and national levels. Mr Day is a representative on the Australian Banana Grower's Council and is a founding member and the current president of the Sweeter Banana Cooperative. Mr Day has served six years as Carnarvon Shire president and sat on the Council for a total of sixteen years. He has a long history of involvement with community and sporting groups in Carnarvon.

Brian Reading [Community, Exmouth]

Brian Reading runs a light engineering business in Exmouth. No stranger to the sea, Mr Reading has extensive maritime experience and has a degree in Aquatic Science. He is an active member of many community and business committees and is a member of the Exmouth Volunteer Marine Rescue service and the Ningaloo Research Centre Committee.
