The Gascoyne Development Commission is the Western Australian Government statutory authority dedicated to the economic and social development of the Gascoyne region. The Gascoyne region encompasses the Shires of Carnarvon, Exmouth, Shark Bay and Upper Gascoyne with Carnarvon, the regional centre, located 1000km north Perth.

Projects

The Commission undertakes projects to coordinate and promote social and economic development in the Gascoyne, to maximise prosperity and well-being for the region, and for Western Australia.

RED Grants

The Regional Economic Development Grants (RED) program is a $50.85 million State Government initiative that invests in local projects to stimulate economic growth and development in regional Western Australia. up to $250,000 is available for individual projects.
